Charley Hubbs is a Nashville based Producer and Engineer. The Kentucky native moved to Nashville in 1999 to study music business at Belmont University. In 2006 he became the Chief Engineer and Manager of Playground Recording Studios after only a year with the company. Following his time with Playground, Charley started his own production company, which became CBP Nashville in 2011. Charley has been a part of several award nominated and winning works including the Kathy Mattea Grammy Nominated Album “Coal”, Dove Award winning arrangement of Give Me Jesus for Lillenas Music by Phil Nitz, and Telly Award winner Learn & Master Blues Guitar from Legacy Learning Systems. In addition, Charley has also taught audio engineering at Trevecca Nazarene University, Nashville State Community College, and Martin Methodist College.
